Course Details
The race takes place on a safe course with completely closed roads. The kids will run west from Transition along Pitts Bay Road to a turnaround point near to Woodbourne Avenue. The older kids’ run course is slightly longer than for the younger kids. Once they return to Transition, they will head east on the bike course along Front Street to King Street, where they will cycle up to Reid Street and then back to Front Street via Court Street to complete the lap.
After completing the bike section, the kids will then set off on their second run (same course as the first) before completing the race down the Finish Chute, located in the Main Venue area, as they pass the spectator grandstand.
All kids must have a bike helmet and a bike in workable condition in order to race. Please check the condition of your child’s bike well in advance of the weekend and have any issues fixed to avoid disappointment on race day.
Good luck and enjoy your race!
