TRANSPORT & PARKING OPTIONS DURING MS AMLIN WORLD TRIATHLON BERMUDA FESTIVAL WEEKEND

ENJOYING HAMILTON AND THE WORLD TRIATHLON SERIES RACES
Hamilton remains open throughout the event, with several stores and restaurants extending their hours for fans.
All roads remain open throughout this week, including Friday. At 4am Saturday the racecourse will be closed to motorised vehicles, and traffic will be directed by police officers, Royal

Bermuda Regiment soldiers and volunteer racecourse marshals during the race. Entry into Hamilton is from the north. Roads are all open as usual from Victoria Street to the north. Tee Street and Brighton Hill remain open; Happy Valley, Marsh Folly, Parsons Rd and North Shore are all unaffected. Aberfeldy Nursery on Pomander Rd is open from 12 noon – 6pm on Saturday April 28th.

PARKING
Car Parks that are open at all times are: Bulls Head, Elliot Street and King Street.

Par-la-Ville Car Park is open (except on Saturday 6am – 12 noon, when it is open only to event volunteers).

Saltus Grammar School, 108 St. John’s Road, Hamilton (Fri 6pm – 9pm & Sat 6am – 7.30pm).

The FedEx warehouse facility, 3 Mills Creek Road, Pembroke – Saturday only.

There is no on-street parking on Front Street and Reid Street from 6am Friday to allow for spectator barricade placement. Parked cars may be removed at the owner’s expense.

FRIDAY SHUTTLE TIMES:

7.30am – 10.30pm to/from Victoria St, Hamilton (near bus terminal). Departs each parking area every hour from 7.30am (for overflow city parking).

Departs Hamilton every hour from 8.00am to return to parking areas. Saturday free Park n Ride - Arboretum and Botanical Gardens Cedarbridge Academy – walk to Arboretum shuttle

SATURDAY SHUTTLE TIMES:
8.00am – 7.30pm, to/from Victoria St, Hamilton (near bus terminal)
Departs each parking area every hour from 8.00am.

Departs Hamilton every hour from 8.30am to return to parking areas.

TRAVELING TO HOMES OR BUSINESSES INSIDE THE RACECOURSE – SATURDAY APRIL 28TH
Please park your vehicle (including motorbikes) outside the racecourse at a point close to your destination and walk in, or use the designated parking with park and ride.

TAXI STANDS
Church Street in front of the City Hall Car Park – after 12 noon Saturday

NOTE: all Front Street taxi stands will be closed on Saturday, April 28th

FERRIES
The summer ferry schedule will operate as usual with additional Hamilton to Dockyard ferries departing Hamilton on Thursday night at 10.30pm, Friday night at 10.30pm and
Saturday evening at 7.45pm.

BUSES
Buses will enter and exit Hamilton on the regular published schedule, however some bus routes will use different roads to enter Hamilton.

Traffic Notice

Parking in city streets will be limited in the lead up to the event and the City of Hamilton recommends Bulls Head for parking.
